Is grow with Jo a personal trainer?

I am a personal trainer and coach. My journey to becoming a personal trainer started back in 2013 when I decided to pursue a career in the fitness industry. At that time, I had struggled with my own weight and fitness goals, and I wanted to help others who were facing similar challenges.

To kickstart my career, I enrolled in McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario to study Kinesiology. This program provided me with a solid foundation in understanding the human body, exercise science, and the principles of training. It was during my time at university that I gained a deeper understanding of how to help individuals achieve their fitness goals in a safe and effective manner.

After completing my degree, I decided to combine my knowledge with practical experience by working as a personal trainer. I started my own business called “Grow with Jo” with the aim of helping individuals lead a fit and healthy lifestyle. Through one-on-one training sessions, group fitness classes, and personalized workout plans, I provide guidance and support to my clients on their fitness journey.

One of the things that sets me apart as a personal trainer is my personal experience with weight loss and fitness. I understand the challenges and struggles that individuals face when trying to make lasting changes to their lifestyle. This empathy allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level and provide them with the support they need to overcome obstacles and reach their goals.

In my training sessions, I focus on creating personalized programs that are tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals. I believe in a holistic approach to fitness, which includes not only exercise but also nutrition and mindset. I work with my clients to develop sustainable habits and make lifestyle changes that will lead to long-term success.

Throughout my career as a personal trainer, I have had the privilege of helping numerous individuals transform their lives. Seeing my clients achieve their goals and improve their overall health and well-being is incredibly rewarding. It motivates me to continue expanding my knowledge and staying up to date with the latest research and trends in the fitness industry.
