How long does it take for remedy herbicide to work?

Remedy herbicide is an effective solution for killing brush and hard-to-kill vines such as Ivy or kudzu. When using Remedy, it is recommended to also use a Surface Non-Ionic Surfactant to enhance its effectiveness. This combination can yield spectacular results, although it may take around 10 days to see the full effect.

I have personally used Remedy herbicide in my own garden to tackle stubborn brush and vines, and I must say, the results were impressive. The key is to apply the herbicide directly to the foliage of the plants you wish to eliminate. Make sure to thoroughly cover all parts of the plant, including the leaves and stems. The herbicide will then be absorbed into the plant and work its way down to the roots, effectively killing the entire plant.

It is important to note that Remedy herbicide is a systemic herbicide, which means it is designed to be absorbed by the plant and then spread throughout its system. This is why it may take some time to see the full effects of the herbicide. As it slowly travels through the plant, it disrupts its growth and eventually leads to its demise.

In my experience, I noticed visible wilting and browning of the treated plants within a few days of application. However, it took around 10 days for the plants to completely wither and die. This timeline may vary depending on the specific plants being treated and the environmental conditions. It is also worth mentioning that larger and more established plants may take longer to fully succumb to the herbicide.

For a more economical alternative, you may consider using Clear Pasture, Triclopyr 61.6%. This herbicide contains the active ingredient triclopyr, which is also highly effective against brush and hard-to-kill vines. The application process and timeline for Clear Pasture are similar to that of Remedy.

Remedy herbicide combined with a Surface Non-Ionic Surfactant is an excellent solution for eliminating brush and tough vines. While it may take around 10 days to see the full effects, the results are well worth the wait. Additionally, Clear Pasture, Triclopyr 61.6% is a more economical alternative that can also yield impressive results. Remember to always follow the instructions on the herbicide label and take necessary precautions when handling and applying these products.
